Forrester collectively surveyed 259 CEOs, CIOs, CTOs and other c-suite business decision makers to uncover the pace of change, plans for and priorities for the future, and how customer-centric a firm’s focus is. The study also looks to address the role that data has and will play moving forward, as well as the importance of insight to continuously transform according to customer need.
The findings revealed that:
- 41% of firms are incorporating customer insight and feedback to elevate customer experiences when designing products and services.
- 7 out of 10 firms will distance themselves from business partners that do not meet their sustainability and social responsibility practices.
- Only 27% of firms strongly agree to having a company-wide program in place to find, hire and nurture employees’ digital skills.
