Job Responsibilities

Automation Framework Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks using jtest, Selenium, and other relevant technologies.
• Implement best practices for automation development, including code reusability, maintainability, and modularity.
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.

 

Test Automation:
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for various application layers, including UI, API, and database.
• Utilize Selenium to automate web application testing, covering functional, regression, and cross-browser testing.
• Implement API automation using tools and frameworks like REST Assured or Postman.
• Perform data-driven testing and create comprehensive test data sets.

 

AWS Services Testing:
• Design and execute automated tests for applications deployed on AWS infrastructure.
• Utilize AWS SDKs and APIs to interact with and validate AWS services.
• Develop automation scripts to test functionalities like Lambda functions, S3 storage, and EC2 instances.

 

Performance and Security Testing:
• Contribute to performance and security testing efforts by automating relevant test cases.
• Utilize tools and techniques to simulate load and stress scenarios.
• Automate security vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.

 

Quality Assurance:
• Collaborate with QA engineers and developers to define test plans and strategies.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and report issues effectively.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

 

Essential:
• 5+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation development.
• Proven expertise in developing automation frameworks using jtest and Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong programming skills in Java or other object-oriented languages.
• Experience with API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., REST Assured, Postman).
• Hands-on experience with testing AWS services and infrastructure.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automation tests.
• Experience with performance and security testing tools and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 

Desirable:
• Experience with mobile automation testing using Appium or similar tools.
• Knowledge of cloud testing platforms and services.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
