Description
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python (2.7), Django (1.6)
Work with MySQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
Implement containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and scaling.
Leverage cloud computing platforms (GCP preferred) to enhance application performance and reliability.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development and cloud computing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Python Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects using Django (1.6) and/or Flask.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Good understanding of Design Patterns & SOLID Principles
- Proficiency in MySQL and familiarity with other database technologies.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for deploying scalable applications.
- Familiarity with cloud services, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is highly desirable.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
