Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Java QA Automation to join our growing technology team within the WPP division, focusing on building technology products for some of the world’s leading media agencies. The successful candidate will work alongside developers and other members of the scrum teams of the WPP division.

Requirements
– Strong Java knowledge.
– Strong Cucumber knowledge.
– Strong knowledge of UI automation framework (e.g. Selenium).
– Strong knowledge of API test automation framework (e.g. REST Assured or similar).
– Ability to write clear and concise test cases and test plans.
– Understanding of web technologies such as HTTP/REST APIs, GCS, S3.
– Good knowledge of SQL.
– Basic knowledge of Docker and CI/CD (ability to run tests in GitLab). Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
– Knowledge of Google Cloud, PostgreSQL, GitLab would be a plus.
– Intermediate+ English is a must.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
– Attention to detail and ability to identify and report defects accurately.
– Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.
– Ability to understand how quality impacts customer value.
– Ability to work closely with product owners and stakeholders to align testing efforts with business goals and objectives.
– Experience with exploratory testing to uncover potential issues that may impact the customer value.
– Ability to provide feedback to development teams on ways to improve the product’s quality and usability.
Job Responsibilities
– Development of behavior tests using Cucumber.
– Development of API testing automation using frameworks like REST Assured.
– Manual testing parts of the project that could not be automated or are urgent to release.
– Verification of the DWH data sets to match with the base data.
– Possible development of UI automation using Cucumber and Selenium WebDriver.
– Collaboration with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
– Run test suits via CI/CD pipelines in the GitLab.
– Perform code reviews, improve and maintain quality of the automation code.
– Be part of the Agile Team; help thoroughly define, plan and test each task that is part of the sprint.
– Take active part in the testing architectural discussions and decisions. Be proactive member of the team.
– Work in the changing environment using Lean methodologies.
– Participation in daily meetings with customer and team.
– Present a demo for the client.
– Maintainability of test suites. Analyze and report test results.
– Educating team colleagues how to efficiently contribute test cases.
– Review existing manual tests and make decisions to transform to automated test cases based on risk and cost.
– Contributes to and improves test automation harnesses to ensure quick turnaround when adding test cases.
– Reviews existing test cases and makes recommendations where refactor, consolidate or deprioritize.
– Exploratory testing of new features and existing functionality to improve test coverage.
– Supporting team members at adding test cases to the automation suite.
