Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Engineering team focusing on the Connected and Instrumented Vehicles Data Platform. Requirements
- Experience in data engineering and managing data at scale.
- Working knowledge of at least two of the following: PySpark, Scala, SQL.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of AWS Cloud and the Databricks platform, with experience using operational tools such as quality frameworks, reporting tools, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Focus on action, self-driven attitude, and strong execution skills.
- Strong collaboration skills and a proactive approach to implementing and continuously improving systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data pipelines between various internal source systems and the AWS cloud.
- Automate data flow, continuously improving performance and quality for the petabyte (120 PB) scale data warehouse.
- Work closely with data scientists and AI engineers to optimize code and build production applications.
- Manage data and your products as assets in a DevOps environment.
- Engage in daily collaboration with other Data Engineers, Data Governance, Data Producers, and the Platform Team.
