Description
Our customer is responsible for Railway calculations and simulations
Requirements
- Understands and follows the company’s processes and procedures for developing vital software
- Implements real time systems mainly in ‘C’ and ’C++’
- Designs, codes, debugs, writes test procedures and tests software code
- Reviews software requirements analysis, designs, code, test procedures and test results
- Analyses and implements correction for defect reports
- Develops software to simulate vehicular and signaling behaviors and interfaces and to provide support for train control systems
- Performs engineering testing in the field and investigates problems in the field
- Interprets requirements and existing designs to implement simulations
- Provides some input for cost estimates
- Assists in on the job training of staff
Job Responsibilities
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of software development environment (desktop simulator, target simulator, etc.)
- Knowledge of software architecture
- Experience with object-oriented programming and C++
- Experience with multithreaded and real time application development
- Experience with software debugging and application profiling and troubleshooting
- Experience with data entry, manipulation, and display user interface development.
