Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of web technologies, programming languages, and automation tools, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of web automation.
Must have skills – Javascript, UI Automation, WrbdriverIO and Selenium.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of automated test scripts for web applications using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify and report bugs, performance issues, and other anomalies.
- Collaborate with QA engineers and developers to understand application requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Maintain and update existing automation frameworks and scripts to adapt to changing application features and functionality.
- Document test cases, procedures, and results in a clear and organized manner.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript
- Experience or coursework in automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies and practices.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.
