Requirements

–Bachelors Degree in Engineering

– 8+ years of hands-on experience in software testing (6+ years of experience in test automation)

– Good communication and problem-solving skills

– Highly motivated, energetic and able to focus on goals and ready to challenge and come up with alternative solutions, when addressing problems.

– Knowledge of Playwright and TypeScript or Javascript, well versed with Cucumber/Gherkin

– Knowlede of Auntomation Patterns like Page Object and others

– Good knowledge of Github and ability to resolve merge conflicts

– Good Knowledge of CI/CD tool i.e. Jenkins

– Sound knowledge of Cloud/Web platform.

– Knowledge of Performance and/or Security testing will be an added advantage.

– Experience in QA methodologies, clear understanding of QA processes and artifacts

– Experience with Scrum/Agile

– Experience in developing automated test scripts

– Experience in API automation, testing RESTful APIs and web services with tools like POSTMAN.

– Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, developed interpersonal skills

 

Job responsibilities

– Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and define test plans.

– Client coordination, onshore-offshore coordination and handoffs with Offshore Teams

– Design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks such as Playwright and TypeScript or Javascript, well versed with Cucumber/Gherkin

– Perform manual testing when necessary to identify and reproduce defects.

– Ability to exercise independent thinking and balanced judgment.

– Able to effectively support the team in achieving team goals.

– Create and execute automation scripts to validate functionality, performance, and regression.

– Provide technical guidance, support, and training to the QA automation team.

– Work with developers, product managers, and business analysts to align testing with requirements.

– Ensure high automation coverage for functional, regression, and performance testing.

– Track and report test outcomes, providing detailed insights to stakeholders.

– Identify and adopt the best tools and technologies for automation needs.

– Oversee the overall quality of testing processes and deliverables.

– Introduce and implement innovative practices to improve testing efficiency.

– Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation frameworks, scripts, and test results.
