Our company is looking for key experts to help our automotive client make a seamless transition to the Software Defined Vehicle concept and apply the best practices gathered in the development of the next generation of automotive platforms.
If you have good experience or want to touch architecture development and troubleshooting, test and develop IDD strategies, build and propose new ways to improve the quality and functionality of automotive products – this role is for you.
Expect to be involved in in-depth analysis, problem solving and innovation as we navigate complexity together. Your experience will be highly valued, fostering an environment where knowledge sharing and collaboration are paramount. Requirements
Must Have
- HIL Operations & Management: Experience managing and troubleshooting HIL systems or similar test rigs.
- Python Development: Strong Python skills for automation, scripting, and monitoring enhancements.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) for hardware integration.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Background: SW developer or HIL Engineer
- Collaboration: Effective communication with cross-functional teams, particularly software and infrastructure teams.
Nice to Have
- CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and practices.
- Hardware & Rig Configuration: Experience with hardware configuration and rig design.
- Automation Tools: Knowledge of tools like Ansible or Terraform for hardware management.
- Basic Networking: Understanding of networking for stable lab connectivity.
Job Responsibilities
- Python development to enhance rig monitoring systems
- Work with one of the CI teams to improve rig usage
- Monitor and manage around 200 components of HIL’s
- Create and configure end-to-end software build and deployment pipelines
- Develop and maintain the CI infrastructure (as code) for developing the current generation of head-unit ECUs.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and ready to work in collaboration with developer teams
