Description

Our client is a global leader in music rights management, serving as an advocate for the value of music. It collects blanket license fees from businesses that use music, entitling those businesses to play or sync any songs from the client’s repertoire of over 22.4 million musical works. On a regular basis, the client distributes the money to songwriters, composers, and music publishers as royalties to those members whose works have been performed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on development experience, designing and implementing large/complex systems with Scala.
• Experience with Apache Spark (or Azure Databricks, or analogue)
• Knowledge of modern backend frameworks, scalable software development practices, design patterns, data structures.
• Understanding of algorithms and their principles
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills and experience.
• Good understanding of SDLC process, version control, code review, continuous integration and automated deployment tools.
• Strong background with CI/CD methodology.
• Advanced level of English
• Experience with Specs2 testing framework is a plus
• Cloud service experience (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus
• B.Sc in Computer Science is an advantage.

• Solve complex problems at the architectural, coding, and product levels.
