Description
GlobalLogic is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join its growing legal department supporting the EMEA region.

Requirements
- Law degree in Romania.
- Strong employment law expertise.
- Minimum 8 years of experience.
- Experience in working for IT companies.
- Experience working as an in-house lawyer.
- English language full professional proficiency, spoken and written – the team is working almost exclusively in English.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize them. Must be responsible and conscientious.
- Dedication to quality and reliability in all work tasks.
- Team player. Able to work both independently as well as in a team environment.
- Based in Cluj-Napoca. Expected to work in the Cluj office once a week.
Preferences
- Additional license to practice or law degree in another EU country.
- Experience in working with a geographically dispersed team / in a multinational company.
- Experience with privacy and data protection matters.
- Slovak or German language.
Job Responsibilities
- Providing legal support for other departments, reviewing legal queries, giving legal recommendations.
- Cooperation with external counsel.
- Developing policies and other documents.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Tracking changes of the applicable legislation.
- Carrying out other tasks to support colleagues within the global legal team, as required.
