Description:
We are looking for a talented trainee software engineer who is considering to switch to Scala for the project which is related to the development of the brand-new order management system for the global media and entertainment company that encompasses a diverse portfolio of television networks, film studios, theme parks and digital platforms.
Engineer will have the opportunity to be part of a strong R&D group that creates a cutting-edge solution designed to streamline and optimize business operations, provide seamless order processing, inventory management and real-time tracking by ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
Requirements:
Less than 1 years of experience in Java or Scala.
Ready to switch, learn and work with Scala if no previous Scala experience.
Good analytical mindset with personal skills allowing the candidate to find solutions on his own or by brainstorming with colleagues.
Understanding of SOLID principles, including design skills using DDD, OOP and OOD patterns.
Nice to have skill set for the candidate would be that he has basic User-facing frontend applications design and development, also any AdTech experience.

Responsibilities:
Develop microservice applications from scratch.
Deliver high-level quality solution.
Work as part of Agile (Scrum) team to develop new functionality & products.
Generate and maintain technical documentation.
Collaborate with product owners to break down high level requirements into understandable pieces of work.
Identify the best ways to refactor opportunistically as well as a longer-term plan.
