GlobalLogic is searching for a motivated, results-driven, and innovative engineer to join our project team at a dynamic startup specializing in pet insurance. Our client is a leading global holding company that is dedicated to developing an advanced pet insurance claims clearing solution designed to expedite and simplify the veterinary invoice reimbursement process for pet owners.

You will be working on a cutting-edge system built from scratch, leveraging Azure cloud services and adopting a low-code paradigm. The project adheres to industry best practices in quality assurance and project management, aiming to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of system development processes and methodologies, including analysis and design, requirements definition, release planning, post-release activities, implementation
• Strong communication skills, with special emphasis on active listening and interpretation skills
• System Analysis: the ability to see the big picture, decompose it into development items, and convey it to team members
• Strong experience in resolving dependencies between multiple external teams, superior communication and influencing skills
• Experience in managing backlog for the development of backend solutions, microservices, API, and data platforms
• Nice to have expertise in cloud-based finance/insurance/accounting
• Agile certification is a plus (e.g. CSPO, PSPO)

Job responsibilities

• Customer-facing Technical Product Owner being an interface between business stakeholders, multiple external teams, and GL teams
• Creating and aligning Product roadmaps, resolving dependencies, managing risks
• Work with the development teams to ensure that they understand the vision for the product and are designing required features for our customer
• Break down the high-level features, support estimation activities, manage the product backlog with more detailed epics and user stories
• Work closely with other Product Owners and Lead Architects in product increment planning, release planning, team velocity, and prioritisation of backlog according to business value and customer needs
• Participate in meetings with key stakeholders, providing product increment demo and answering product related questions
• Product documentation preparation, knowledge sharing 
• Change management, configuration management
• Support post-production maintenance if required
