Description:
GlobalLogic communication delivery unit is looking for specialists in the radio access network domain to develop cutting-edge telecommunication products.

Requirements:
• Strong proficiency in C, C++, and assembly language.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Bash.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux kernel internals, including scheduling, memory management, file systems, interrupt handling, and device drivers.
• Experience working with or developing for platforms like Simics, QEMU, KVM, Xen, or similar virtual machine monitors and simulators.
• Proven track record of optimizing performance at the kernel and system level, including low-latency, high-throughput computing, and parallel processing.
• Deep understanding of CPU architecture (x86, ARM, RISC-V, etc.), memory hierarchies, and I/O systems.
• Proficiency with tools like gdb, perf, Valgrind, or similar to analyze performance and troubleshoot kernel/system-level issues.
• Expertise in multithreading, synchronization, and lock-free programming, with a focus on performance in concurrent systems.
• Experience with Linux and other Unix-like operating systems, with familiarity in system boot processes, kernel build systems, and cross-compilation.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience contributing to open-source simulation or virtualization projects, particularly in kernel subsystems.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, LXC) and their interaction with virtualized systems.
• Knowledge of compilers (e.g., GCC, LLVM) and build systems (e.g., Make, CMake) as they relate to kernel and low-level development.
• Experience in optimizing for security features such as secure boot, kernel hardening, and isolation techniques (e.g., sandboxing, containerization).
Responsibilities:
– Contribution and consultancy to the improvement of SW architecture
– Guide technical teams and architectural community
– Engage collaboratively with hardware engineers, system architects, software engineers, testers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of components, end-to-end system reliability, and system efficiency improvements
– Work within an Agile development environment
