Description:
Our client is a leading telecommunications and internet service provider based in Japan, offering a range of innovative solutions including network services, cloud computing and security solutions to businesses and individuals. By leveraging the technological expertise gained through providing Internet connectivity services, the company has expanded its business portfolio as a total solutions provider, offering outsourcing services that include cloud computing, Wide-Area Network (WAN) services, systems integration services, and more.
Moving all information online has necessitated expanding their cloud service capabilities to remain competitive with other leading market players in this field. A set of our projects will focus on extending these services’ capabilities and functionalities, including the development of new modules and more, to meet this demand.
Requirements:
– Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in software development;
– Expertise in Python programming and related frameworks. Knowledge of Go is a big plus;
– Proven experience in designing and developing cloud-based services, particularly Identity and Access Management/Authentication, Key Management Service, Logging and/or similar is highly desirable;
– Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services;
– Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes);
– Proficiency in security best practices, including encryption and secure data handling;
– Experience in development of secure of cloud-based systems is a big a plus (including but not limited to logs and events aggregation and analysis, suspicious activities detection, automated infrastructure vulnerabilities scanning, automated infrastructure verification controls);
– Excellent communication and presentation skills in the English language. Proactivity. Strong attention to detail is very important here;
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong ability to mentor and lead multi-cultural teams;
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in developing a Key Management Service and a Logging System to enhance our cloud service capabilities, as well us extending the capabilities of other existing services like CloudShell and Identity and Access Management services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
– Gather and analyze client business needs and requirements, translating them into actionable technical specifications. Generate ideas for client. Actively investigate other available and open-source solutions that may help during the architecture process;
– Assist with architecting cloud solutions with a focus on high availability, reliability, and security. Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment;
– Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient Python/Go based services. Identify and address potential bottlenecks, performance issues, and other technical challenges;
– Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features;
