As part of our ongoing digitalization efforts, we are looking for a skilled Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python technologies.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based applications for industrial use.
- Integrating industry protocols into OT systems such as PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA platforms.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and define technical requirements.
- Ensuring the performance, scalability, and security of developed solutions.
- Providing technical expertise and leadership on Python development and system integrations.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Python Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of digital solutions that support GETEC’s operational platforms, including those related to energy management, performance optimization, and real-time monitoring systems
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Python-based applications and systems tailored for
industrial environments. - Implement and integrate industry protocols (MQTT, BacNet, ModBus) to facilitate seamless
communication across OT systems like PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA platforms. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliverables.
- Optimize application performance and scalability to meet industrial-grade standards, with a focus on
secure and robust solutions. - Act as a technical subject matter expert for Python and industrial system integrations within the
organization.
