Responsibilities:

Summary/Objective

  • Own the partnership between Senior Business Leaders and the People function to develop integrated solutions, deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the organization’s business objectives.
  • To ensure business growth enablement organically and inorganically.
  • Responsible for the annual Talent Strategy and Plan in partnership with Senior Business Leaders. The annual Talent Plan will be aligned to the business and highlight strategic requirements related to the development, diversity, engagement of GlobalLogic’s core asset – People. Define and track annual Talent Plan metrics for measuring success.
  • Align Talent Plans to core business objectives with senior management in assigned delivery units.
  • To seek to develop integrated solutions and act as a liaison and coordinator with People Function COEs by communicating business needs proactively and ensuring COE efforts are aligned to support Talent Plans’ delivery.
  • To maintain an effective level of business literacy about the delivery unit’s financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and its competition.
  • Work with COEs to support and facilitate closing strategic business gaps defined in partnership with senior business leaders. Orchestrate COEs to solve business challenges.
  • Client to the business and liaison to COEs to ensure talent plan is defined and COEs execution is aligned to meet business objectives.
  • Broker of services to business leaders from COEs and Global People Service Center.
  • To work as a trusted advisor to management on people-related issues.
  • To act as an employee champion and change agent.

  • Understands how HRBPs, COEs, and Global People Services can define annual talent strategy plans and support the business.
  • Provides guidance and input on delivery unit restructure, workforce planning, and succession planning based on the company’s strategic objectives and specific requirements and priorities of concrete account/line of business.
  • In the case of M&A, provides HR advice and support during Due Diligence and integration of new companies.  
  • Understands the talent needs of the business (nature of hiring & growth/development demand).
  • Creates a vision and plan for talent strategy in the delivery unit together with senior delivery management.  
  • Identifies talent issues related to specific roles or specialization before they impact the business.
  • Analyzes trends and critical People metrics in partnership with the business to develop solutions, programs, and policies that cover business needs.
  • Leverages metrics to publish a dashboard for reporting progress and success.
  • Facilitates the process of L&D needs collection for business units and individual coaching needs.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
  • Develop strategies aimed to raise the employees’ engagement.
  • Defines diversity strategy in partnership with senior business leaders and aligned with company objectives.
  • Contributes to GlobalLogic EVP (employment value proposition). 
  • Change Agent Adjusts People strategies to respond to changing business needs by providing proposals to People Heads/Management in collaboration with COE Org Effectiveness. Key stakeholders: Competencies required: Education: Experience: Scorecard:  
  • Leads and manages changes in people-related strategy, organization, and/or operations.
  • Promotes buy-in among organizational stakeholders when implementing change initiatives.
  • Trusted advisor in time of change and communicates internally with all stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition Employee Champion.
  • Develops the next generation of GL leaders for business success and growth.
  • Consults with line management, providing People management guidance when appropriate.
  • Prioritizes the People-related needs of the business.
  • Consults on Compensations and Benefits matters (market overview, internal & external fairness, etc.).
  • Consults on Diversity & Inclusion matters.
  • Resolves internal political problems in the execution of business plans.
