Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in a similar position
- In-depth understanding of payroll tax regulations, including personal taxes and single social contributions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in payroll and accounting software, as well as Oracle, MSD 365 BC, IT Enterprise
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities.
Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing and Management:
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Calculate, verify, and process employee wages, deductions, bonuses, and adjustments.
Maintain payroll records and ensure proper documentation is archived and accessible.
Tax Reporting and Compliance:
Prepare and file payroll tax reports, including personal income tax and single social contributions, in alignment with local regulations.
Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Address and resolve any payroll-related tax issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Reconciliation and Financial Reporting:
Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management review.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes related to payroll accounts.
Collaborate with finance team members to ensure accurate reporting and journal entries for payroll expenses.
Audit and Internal Controls:
Prepare for and support payroll-related audits by gathering necessary documentation and reports.
Implement and enforce internal controls to safeguard payroll data and ensure accuracy in payroll processes.
Regularly review and update payroll policies and procedures in line with best practices and legal requirements.
Process Improvement:
Identify and recommend enhancements to payroll processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline payroll-related workflows and support system upgrades.
