Description:
Our client is an Israeli biotech company that uses computational biology and machine learning to create detailed models of human diseases at the cellular level. The main focus is on helping pharmaceutical companies improve drug discovery and development, and to accelerate the development of more effective and personalized medicines.
By joining our team, you will be at the forefront of driving innovation in cloud services, bringing a mix of architecture skills, leadership, and hands-on development. This will encompass the development of server-side and client-side software tools which make computational biology data pipelines accessible, easy-to-use and very helpfull for world’s top harma companies in their endaveour of groundbraking discoveries and bringing novel therapies to the patients who most need them.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of commercial experience with 2+ years in a Senior role;
- Extensive experience in full stack development in a cloud microservices environment;
- Experience with building and designing End-to-end applications in a cloud microservices environment;
- Proficiency both in Backend and UI development;
- Experience with Node.js;
- Experience building SPA applications with Vue.js/Angular/React;
- Hands-on experience in reviewing and implementing application design principles (SOLID) and design patterns to start building a new application from scratch;
- Experience with Docker + Kubernetes;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and ability to work as a standalone unit in close cooperation with the Client’s team representatives. Experience working in Outstaffing would be a plus;
- Excellent technical documentation development skills;
- Strong attention to details, goal-oriented, proactive, diligent;
- Flexibility in tasks performance, maintaining priorities and respecting deadlines;
- Proven experience in mentoring or knowledge sharing sessions organization.
Would be an advantage:
- Experience with R and Python programming languages;
- Experience with BQ database;
- Experience with multiple and diverse cloud services.
Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Plan, design and develop cloud-based web apps (both BE and FE);
- Development of test infrastructure for new and existing features;
- Maintain and improve existing features;
- Conduct proof of concepts and integrate new solutions;
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team of developers, researchers, data scientists, product managers, and other stakeholders;
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment;
- Gather and analyze Clients’ requirements, translating them into actionable technical specifications;
