Requirements:
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our Global Planning team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, analytics, and supply chain management. This role will focus on leveraging data to optimize our supply chain processes, improve forecasting accuracy, and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist, preferably within the supply chain or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex datasets.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Develop and implement predictive models and algorithms to improve demand forecasting and inventory management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Design and build data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings and support decision-making.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing to validate assumptions and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and supply chain analytics.
