Description:
6-8 years of experience in PL/SQL development and database administration.
Experience working with large-scale, high-volume databases is a plus.
Required Skills:
PL/SQL: Strong experience in PL/SQL development, including writing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
MSSQL/SQL: Advanced knowledge of SQL for querying, data manipulation, and optimization.
Database Design: Proficient in designing relational databases, understanding normalization, and implementing ER models.
Performance Tuning: Expertise in identifying slow-running queries and optimizing them for performance.
Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git for managing database code changes.
Debugging: Strong debugging skills in a database context to identify and resolve issues.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration with team members.
Preferred Skills:
PL/SQL Tools: Experience with tools like SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar database development tools.
Data Warehousing: Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools.
Scripting Languages: Knowledge of scripting languages like Shell, Python, or JavaScript for automation and data management.
Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement PL/SQL solutions for data processing, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support application features and performance enhancements.
Analyze and optimize database performance, including identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
Create and manage complex data models, database schemas, and relationships.
Work with application developers to integrate backend solutions with front-end applications and ensure smooth data flow.
Develop automated test cases, conduct unit testing, and ensure quality of the database code.
Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues with databases and applications.
Document technical designs, processes, and solutions in a clear and concise manner.
Work in an Agile environment, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with best practices.
Stay updated with new developments in database technologies and PL/SQL best practices.
