Description:
GlobalLogic is looking for Line Manager who may join our team in Zagreb.
You will join a project for a client who is a top healthcare device manufacturers from USA and Europe, aimed to innovate and rock the market. The project itself represents a big system including integration between the embedded device, mobile application, web services, and because of this we are focusing on the security aspects of the embedded system. The project is very structured and process driven and it is considered as technical excellence so we are paying huge attention to the technical challenge motivation of our team members.
Requirements:
Must have:
- Strong leadership including abilitty to empower people, coaching and mentoring
- at least two years of experience in team coordination in IT projects
- good understanding of the software development process and business related fields
- Excellent communication and presentation, organizational and problem-solving skills
- networking and collaboration skills, openness to cooperation with different business partners and establish a productive partnership
- self drive and working actively and independently towards targets, focusing on results
- Very good command of English both in speech and writing
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
- Experience in the Medical and/or Embedded or similar
- Understanding of Embedded C concepts
Nice to have:
experience in project management and Agile development
MSc or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronics or related technical area
Responsibilities:
- providing leadership and direction to one of delivery teams in line with company strategy and customer needs
- competence development and utilization of staff allocated to the Team
- tight collaboration with delivery team globally
- managing the motivation and performance of people, giving regular feedback; review and make salary decisions
- defining the roadmap for the technical areas assigned to your business line
- day-to-day cooperation with Project Managers in people management area
- establishing and encouraging an organizational culture
- sharing knowledge in a manner that helps people to develop their competence
- engaging internal and external technical community to promote, learn and teach
- close cooperation with HR and recruitment team in recruiting and hiring talents to fill team positions
