Junior Test Engineer IRC256831

Responsibilities:

Test Case Development:

• Design and write test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
• Update and maintain test documentation to reflect new testing requirements or changes to the product.

Test Execution:

• Conduct manual testing of the product software to identify any bugs, issues, or inconsistencies.
• Execute test cases and analyze results to ensure the functionality and usability of the product.
• Perform exploratory testing to catch issues that may not be covered by test cases.

Regression Testing:

• Verify that fixed bugs have been resolved and that no new issues have been introduced in the software after updates or changes.
• Re-run specific tests to ensure that the previous functionality remains intact.

Bug Reporting:

• Document bugs and errors found during testing in a bug tracking system.
• Provide detailed information to facilitate the debugging process, including steps to reproduce, logs, and clear descriptions of issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that all bugs are addressed and resolved.

Assist in the setup and maintenance of test environments for both hardware and software.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the testing process.

Contribute to the compliance with regulatory standards such as FDA, ISO 13485, etc.
