Must-Have Skills

Security & Governance

  • In-depth experience with AWS Organizations, IAM, SCPs, AWS Config, and Security Hub
  • Practical knowledge of cloud security posture management and auditability

Technical & Scripting

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering with strong hands-on AWS expertise
  • Proficiency in writing Infrastructure Qualification (IQ) scripts using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation

DevOps & Automation

  • Experience integrating with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
  • Familiarity with secure DevOps workflows and version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • AWS Services, Kubernetes, networking, IAM, security policies, and AWS cost optimization
    Azure DevOps, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Helm charts

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Capable of working independently and leading within cross-functional, distributed teams

 

Job responsibilities

 We are seeking DevOps Architects with a strong background in AWS cloud infrastructure, security implementation, and automation. 

This is a hands-on role for architects who can operate across security, DevOps, and automation domains, collaborating closely with GlobalLogic’s AWS ProServe team and Client’s IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, implement, and validate AWS Service Control Policies (SCPs) and AWS Config Rules in line with cloud security best practices.

     

  • Develop and execute Infrastructure Qualification (IQ) scripts to verify and validate configuration changes.

     

  • Enhance and maintain Landing Zone automation scripts using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

     

  • Ensure security implementations meet governance, compliance, and audit requirements.

     

  • Contribute to comprehensive documentation, change control, and traceability for all security-related activities.

     

  • Troubleshoot AWS security and configuration issues, identify root causes, and develop scalable, long-term solutions.

     

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

     

  • Continuously improve internal best practices and contribute to operational documentation for ongoing AWS security management.
