GlobalLogic is seeking technology game changers to spearhead a transformative journey within the automotive industry for one of our OEM customers. We are on the lookout for passionate engineers to lead the porting of application software features from legacy controllers to the next-generation vehicle controller across key domains like autonomous driving, body, powertrain, and infotainment.
Your role extends beyond porting as you will drive future development and innovation in these areas, impacting the future of mobility. Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, robotics, mechatronics or similar
- +5 years of experience with programming in C++ and Python
- Solid command of the most common data structures and algorithms
- Experience in software design methods and latest software quality standards (MISRA, SPICE)
- Proficient in Linux OS
- Good knowledge of ADAS/AD systems, components, features and related control theory
- A proven track record in agile software testing, test-driven development, continuous integration and testing infrastructure (e.g. SIL and HIL)
- Knowledge on automotive communication protocols (CAN-FD, SOME/IP, ..)
- Familiarity with communication bus for automotive applications
- Fluent in English
Nice to have:
- A passion for developing simulation software for self-driving cars (e.g. Carla, CarMaker, dSpace)
- Experience in AUTOSAR classic and adaptive platforms
- Experience in ECUs virtualization methods for full stack virtual validation
- Good programming skills in Matlab/Simulink
- Experience with modeling and simulation of physical plant models for ADAS/AD xIL platforms
- Experience working with autonomous systems, ADAS/AD sensors, automotive network technologies
- Knowledge of safety-related methods like ISO26262 and SOTIF
- Experience with operating system virtualization (e.g. Docker and Kubernetes)
Responsibilities:
- Developing, integrating, and deploying clean and highly scalable code for our SiL platform to test and validate our Autonomous Driving stack
- Developing solutions to orchestrate large-scale simulations on-premise and on-cloud platforms to ensure the reliability of the future autonomous driving product through testing for billions of kilometers
- Providing hands-on technical guidance and actively contributing to the technical growth of the team
- Working closely with software product managers, designers, and engineering stakeholders to answer mission-critical questions
