[Internal Usage] Project Overview:
We are working on an innovative project in the transportation industry that leverages cutting-edge 3D modeling and Nvidia Omniverse technology to create a digital twin of machinery. This project is designed to assist mechanical teams in reviewing and analyzing defects on real assembly line machines through a virtual, immersive environment.
The digital twin will provide an accurate, interactive 3D representation of the actual machinery, allowing for detailed inspections and real-time problem-solving. Mechanical engineers can virtually explore every aspect of the machine, review defects, simulate line, and optimize maintenance processes without needing direct access to the physical machine.
By integrating this solution into the railway maintenance workflow, our project will significantly reduce downtime, improve accuracy in defect detection, and streamline repair operations.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Proficiency in 3D modeling with a strong understanding of modeling, texturing, and UV mapping.
- Expertise in Unreal Engine with a focus on asset integration, optimization, and rendering.
- Advanced skills in Maya for creating and animating 3D models.
- Knowledge of lighting, shading, and rendering techniques in Unreal Engine.
- Experience with pipelines, optimization techniques, and performance considerations.
- Ability to interpret concept art and turn it into high-quality 3D assets.
- Strong attention to detail and artistic sense of form, proportion, and color.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in rigging and animating characters in Maya.
Knowledge of additional 3D software such as ZBrush, Blender, or 3ds Max.
Understanding of PBR (Physically Based Rendering) workflows and materials.
Experience in creating assets for virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) projects.
Strong portfolio showcasing your 3D modeling and Unreal Engine

– Optimize models and textures for performance without sacrificing quality.
– Work closely with technical teams to ensure that models are properly integrated and function as expected within engines.
