Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of IT Services with expertise in the Power sector to lead and manage IT services and solutions tailored to the unique needs of the energy industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Power sector, with a focus on driving technological innovation, delivering solutions, and enhancing operational efficiency for our clients.
Requirements:
- Must have 10-12 years of experience in the Power sector, either working directly with clients or in IT services organizations specializing in the Power sector with a strong executive presence.
- Proven expertise and authority in the Power sector industry.
- In-depth knowledge of IT solutions tailored for the Power sector.
- Experience in bid solutioning and proposal development.
Preferences:
- Experience with IT systems and solutions specific to the Power sector, such as SCADA, smart grid, energy management systems, and renewable energy technologies.
- Certifications in project management (PMP, Agile) or related areas.
- Experience in driving digital transformation and innovation within the Power sector.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in client steering meetings to establish and reinforce domain expertise in the Power sector.
- Proactively engage with client teams during the pre-bid phase to understand their needs and deliver domain-specific solutions.
- Propose value-added services and innovative solutions to strengthen relationships with existing accounts.
- Review and approve solutions for large bids in the Power sector to ensure alignment with client requirements.
- Develop effective proposals in response to client RFPs, showcasing relevant solutions and capabilities.
- Build and enhance the functional competency of team members in the Power sector.
- Actively participate in sector growth councils and drive initiatives to support business expansion.
- Take ownership of project estimates and manage customer relationships.
- Participate in client visits and bid presentations to demonstrate domain expertise in the Power sector.
- Provide ongoing domain expertise to support and grow existing accounts.
