Requirements:
**Education & Experience:**
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
– 1-3 years of experience supporting or administering the ServiceNow platform.
**Technical Skills:**
– Knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Change, Problem, and Asset Management.
– Familiarity with ServiceNow administration tasks (e.g., user management, basic scripting, and module configuration).
– Basic understanding of ITIL principles and how they apply to ServiceNow.
**Soft Skills:**
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
1. **Platform Support & Maintenance:**
– Provide day-to-day support for the ServiceNow platform, addressing incidents, service requests, and troubleshooting issues.
– Monitor platform performance and ensure system stability and availability.
– Manage user access, roles, and permissions.
2. **Configuration & Administration:**
– Assist in configuring and maintaining ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, CMDB).
– Update forms, workflows, and UI policies as needed to support evolving business requirements.
– Perform basic scripting (e.g., JavaScript) to customize forms, workflows, and notifications.
3. **Incident and Problem Resolution:**
– Respond to escalations related to ServiceNow platform issues, working with internal teams and external vendors to resolve problems.
– Analyze root causes of recurring issues and recommend preventive measures.
4. **User Support & Training:**
– Assist end-users and stakeholders in using the ServiceNow platform effectively.
5. **Upgrades & Enhancements:**
– Collaborate on testing, and implementing platform upgrades, patches, and new feature releases.
6. **Collaboration:**
– Participate in team meetings, daily standups, sprint planning and retrospectives as well as backlog refinement.
7. **Documentation:**
– Maintain accurate documentation of platform configurations, customizations, and operational procedures.
