We are looking for an experienced QA/Test Automation Engineer whose main goal will be to implement quality assurance and testing strategies, focused on automated tests. You will work closely with the Product Manager and Tech Lead of your team to evaluate and implement testing solutions. You will design and write functional, integration, regression and acceptance tests. For this fast-paced team, we’re looking for someone who can take full responsibility for bringing the quality of our products to a new level.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Highly organised and structured working method and analytical skill set with high attention to detail.
  • Functional understanding of HTTP and how it applies to RESTful service testing.
  • Experience with continuous delivery systems and build tools – we use GitLab and Gradle.
  • Experience in working within a variety of automated testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, JBehave, Selenium, REST-assured.
  • Experience in performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner, …)
  • Experience in writing SQL queries to obtain data from our various data solutions.
  • Very good spoken and written English.

Job responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall product quality upon release to the market and the day-to-day production of web-based B2B products.

Detailed areas of responsibility:

  • Develop automated REST-assured tests for existing and new microservices, written in Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.
  • Develop automated Frontend tests using Selenium Browser Automation Project, or help us find a better solution.
  • Develop and execute testing strategies and test cases to ensure the integrity of components and the whole product in a scalable and automated way.
  • Understand the product priorities and crucial features of driving customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the product manager to validate and identify acceptance criteria for new features and solutions.
  • Interact closely with your engineering team, making sure issues are well documented and tracked.
  • Apply statistical tests to prove that new features actually add more value for our customers.
