Description:
Development & maintenance of execution environment and CI/CD pipelines for backend services in AWS infrastructure for an international broadcasting company headquartered in New York, US. The company owns several television channels/brands and would like to upgrade ints backend services after having built state-of-the-art TV streaming applications for iOS, Android TV, Android Mobile, and Fire TV platforms.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of commercial DevOps experience
- Strong expertise in implementation of CI/CD pipelines and knowledge of CI/CD tools (Github Actions, Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, or similar)
- Experience with building of artifacts & deployment of backend services to serverless and EKS environments
- Knowledge of container solutions (Docker, etc.) and ability to deploy containers into clusters
- Knowledge and experience with Azure DevOPS (good to have)
- Experience with AWS environment management
- Experience with IaC using Terraform/Pulumi
- Experience with SRE and disaster recovery
- Strong English language skills

Job Responsibilities:
The DevOps Engineer will work independently and with the engineering teams and will focus on CI/CD for backend serviies in AWS infrastructure.
- Designing, implementing, and improving build and deploy pipelines for backend services using Azure DevOPS CI or GitHub Actions
- Management of EKS clusters using Pulumi/Terraform and deployment of services
- Automation, support, and bug fixing in the AWS environment
- Building docker containers and deploying them into clusters
- Building artifacts for backend services (e.g. for AWS Lambda) and deploying them
