Description

This role plays a critical part in assuring the quality and reliability of our software systems and applications. People in this role have a robust Computer Science background and demonstrated expertise in enhancing software quality.

Required Qualifications
 Post-secondary degree in computer science, software engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
 2 to 4 years of experience in software quality assurance with an emphasis on automation testing
 Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments, primarily AWS
 Experience with Martech / CMS
 Advanced scripting skills
 Expertise in test automation frameworks such as JEST or similar
 Proficiency in test automation tools such as Playwright or similar
 Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Artillery or JMeter
 Knowledge of RESTful web services and database systems
 Solid grasp of version control systems like Git
 Comprehensive knowledge of software testing principles, techniques, and best practices
 Proven ability to quickly learn & adapt independently
 Excellent problem-solving skills & attention to detail
 Strong communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
 Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located

Preferred Qualifications
 Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
 Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and practices
 Experience with performance and security testing considered an asset
 Knowledge of financial or accounting software preferred
 Expereince with AEM would be nice to have
 Nice to have if having experience of Integration of Salesforce with CMS

Job responsibilities

 Contribute to the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and strategies
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to identify test requirements
 Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests to validate the functionality of our software products
 Create comprehensive test plans and implement effective test strategies. Create test cases and test data based on functional and non-functional requirements
 Identify, analyze, and document software defects, and track their resolution in an issue- tracking system
 Conduct root cause analysis of defects and recommend process improvements
 Work closely with development teams to investigate and resolve issues, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software
 Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance and test automation
 Liaise with the product team to understand product changes and steer quality initiatives
 Provide support during the deployment and maintenance stages of the software development life cycle
 Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
