Description:
The client is one of the world’s leading providers of elevators, escalators, and moving walkways, as well as maintenance and modernization services. The group has a presence in over 100 countries, as well as production sites and research and development facilities in the US, Brazil, Europe, China, and India. GL has more than five years of successful collaboration with the client. We’ve created a groundbreaking elevator control system. This innovative solution allows users to call the elevator using their smartphones, remotely control its operations, and even enable access for robots, revolutionizing the way we think about elevator technology.
Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled .NET Azure Cloud Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based applications and services using the .NET framework and Microsoft Azure. You will work on complex solutions, drive best practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions. Also you’ll have an ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to architecture and system design.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, etc.).
- Azure Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with core Azure services, including Azure IoT Hub, Azure App Service.
- Databases: Strong experience in relational databases (PostgreSQL or MSSQL) and noSQL databases (Cosmos DB).
- DevOps & Automation: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Security & Compliance: Familiarity with best practices of cloud security, identity management, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2).
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and debugging skills to troubleshoot issues in complex cloud environments.
- Leadership & Collaboration: ability and wish to mentor and lead junior engineers, drive technical discussions, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Version Control: Proficiency in version control systems, preferably Git.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels (English).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications: Azure certifications such as AZ-204 (Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure), AZ-400 (Azure DevOps Engineer Expert), or equivalent.
- Microservices & Containerization: Experience in microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
- Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics or similar.
- Experience with high-load cloud solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-based applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, etc.).
- Support architects and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services such as Azure IoT Hub, Azure App Service, Event Hubs, and others.
- Optimize and fine-tune cloud applications for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to implement best DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation strategies using Azure DevOps.
- Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices, including identity management, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in cloud environments.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to mid-level and junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, architects, and business teams, to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
