Requirements

Seeking a Lead Microservices Engineer (.NET) to drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable, cloud-native microservices. As a technical leader, you will architect solutions, guide a team of engineers, and ensure best practices in microservices, DevOps, and cloud computing.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

8+ years of experience in .NET Core/.NET 6+ and microservices development.
Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) & Clean Architecture.
Expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Proficiency in CI/CD tools, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm).
Experience in message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus).
Strong grasp of authentication & authorization (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Identity Server).
Exposure to performance optimization, caching, and distributed systems.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with GraphQL and API Gateways.
Knowledge of serverless computing (AWS Lambda/Azure Functions).
Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).
Strong experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Architecture
Design and architect scalable, resilient, and high-performance microservices using .NET Core/.NET 6+.
Define best practices for microservices development, API design, and system integration.
Implement event-driven architecture using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
Ensure proper logging, monitoring, and observability using tools like ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.

Development & Deployment
Lead the development of RESTful APIs & gRPC services.
Optimize services for scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance.
Deploy and manage microservices using Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and Helm.
Ensure security best practices (OAuth, JWT, API Gateway security).

DevOps & Cloud Enablement
Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
Leverage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Helm) for cloud deployments.
Ensure compliance with cloud security and governance standards.

Collaboration & Mentorship
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, data, QA, DevOps).
Provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and hands-on troubleshooting.
