Description:
Our client is a leading energy service provider across Europe, driving the energy transition and the adoption of Industry 5.0 standards. We develop innovative, sustainable energy solutions and digital platforms to support our clients in improving efficiency, cutting emissions, and reducing costs. As part of our ongoing digitalization efforts, we are looking for a skilled Manual QA Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Requirements:
2+ years in manual testing, with exposure to API and UI testing.
Proficient in writing test plans, test cases, and executing manual tests.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Postman, and test management plugins like Zephyr Scale.
Strong understanding of test processes, defect tracking, and agile workflows.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Basic understanding of automation tools (a plus).
Job Responsibilities:
Review requirements and create detailed, traceable test cases.
Execute manual functional, regression, and exploratory tests for web and API applications.
Document test results, identify defects, and log them in JIRA with all necessary details.
Collaborate with Dev, BA and AQA Engineers to ensure complete coverage.
Perform API testing with Postman+Newman and validate responses against requirements.
Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and other agile ceremonies.
Provide input to improve testing processes and strategies.
Verify test execution results from automated pipelines (a plus).
