Key Responsibilities:
Planning:
Work in partnership with the project team and business to fully understand project goals and requirements and use this knowledge to effectively plan and execute the development process.
Actively participate in the code review process to ensure development work adheres to standards and specifications (including peer review and code review external to team).
Provide technical guidance to the development team through the full software life cycle.
Expected to conduct analysis and impact assessments, define, and provide options and effort /duration estimates to leaders for approval
Design & Build:
Create low level design documents (including code samples/outlines) and detailed engineering specifications based on complex business, user and non-functional (e.g., performance, reliability) requirements.
Write code, adhering to coding standards, procedures and techniques.
Actively participate in the code review process to ensure development work adheres to standards and specifications (including peer review and code review external to team)
Technical Skills:
Solid Software design and development skills java 8 or above for building multi-tier, service-oriented systems.
Experience of developing technology capabilities on Cloud provider on AWS
Experiencing of working on in different technology stacks (old, new) and proven example of managing the complexity
Good understanding of DevOps/ continuous integration, continuous delivery and development
Test & Execute:
Unit test all code and programs prior to releasing them to quality assurance.
Assist quality assurance in identifying test cases and creating/mining test data to enable a thorough test of all development deliverables.
Respond to all inquiries and issues in a timely manner as developed code/program moves through the testing
Asset Stewardship & Troubleshooting:
Improve the health of system assets by identifying enhancements to improve performance, reliability, and resource consumption.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of software development experience, including requirements, analysis, design, build/unit test.
Experience with application maintenance, support, and incident management.
Proven technical expertise in back-end languages – Core Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot etc, Web-Services, microservices, browser technologies, database and SQL, development and collaboration tools.
Understanding and implementation of Microservices and Kubernetes/Docker Knowledge
Familiar with modern engineering practices: code reviews, continuous-deployment, automated testing.
Demonstrated skill and expertise in working with cross functional teams. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
