Requirements

• Experience in delivering robust software for enterprise commerce applications.
• Sophisticated experience with Python and web frameworks such as Django, Flask, and Turbo-Gears.
• Hands-on experience working with microservices, Service Oriented Architecture, and Event-based Architecture.
• Experience with open-source relational database systems such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Proven record supporting commerce applications in a production environment.
• 3+ years of project management and technical leadership experience.
• Experience delivering technical projects using Agile Scrum.
• Experience in a Linux environment (Ubuntu preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, Node, and e-commerce development.
• Experience building REST-based web services using JSON.
• Advanced understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, and SOA.
• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to estimate work efforts accurately.
• Proven ability to lead software development teams and practices.
• Highly skilled at resolving and debugging issues.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise-class software such as IBM, Oracle, and SAP.
• Experience with VCS (git, hg, or svn).
• Knowledge of search tools such as Solr and Elasticsearch.
• Advanced knowledge or experience with Bootstrap, Foundation, or Angular.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with React and React Native.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum and SAFE development methodologies.
• Successful experience with remote/on-prem teams, including on-/off-/near-shore resources.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Experience supporting the creation and curation of documentation and repositories.

Job responsibilities

• Participate in defining and delivering application systems, subsystems, and interfaces.
• Validate technology assumptions and evaluate alternatives to ensure detailed execution.
• Collaborate with teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure alignment with solution context.
• Handle the complexities of large-scale solution development in both traditional and agile delivery models.
• Work closely with offshore and onsite development and QA resources to efficiently implement high-quality products.
• Ensure customer requirements are communicated reliably to the scrum team.
• Align with DevOps team on CI/CD requirements for assigned projects.
• Support QA Team to ensure project quality and efficient completion of sprint commitments.
• Provide mentorship to development teams throughout all phases of scrum.
• Recommend resource assignments on projects across a diverse team.
• Engage in planning initiatives, product road mapping, and tactical discussions.
• Collaborate with other teams to meet goals efficiently.
• Be available after hours and weekends for incident management, releases, and level 2 support.
