Description:
As a Data Quality Tester with a focus on Quality Assurance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of our data pipelines and systems. You will work with data engineers to design, implement, and maintain robust testing frameworks and processes that ensure high-quality data across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
• Data Pipeline Testing: Design, develop, and execute test plans for data pipelines to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• ETL Process Validation: Validate ETL processes, ensuring data is correctly extracted, transformed, and loaded into data warehouses.
• Data Quality Monitoring: Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Automation: Develop and maintain automated testing scripts and tools to streamline QA processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, and analysts to understand data requirements and develop appropriate testing strategies.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of testing processes, data flows, and data quality metrics.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and tools, continuously improving the QA processes and frameworks.
Experience:
Technical Skills:
– 5+ years of experience in data field, with a strong focus on quality assurance and testing.
– Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
– Strong programming skills in Python or other relevant languages.
– Experience with QA automation tools and frameworks(e.g., PyTest, Cucumber BDD).
– Handson experience with AWS cloud services(e.g. S3, Athena, Glue)
Good to have skills:
– Experience with data pipeline and ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, Talend).
– Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
– Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery).
