Description:
We are seeking an experienced individual with 4+ years in digital mapping or GIS projects, and at least 6 months of experience in maps data analysis (beyond basic digitization). The role involves problem-solving complex mapping issues, tracking build KPIs, and collaborating with teams for permanent solutions. Key tasks include vendor data analysis, data modeling, quality improvements, and using AI/ML tools for feature evaluation. Familiarity with Python, SQL, PostgreSQL is preferred. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and good time management are required. Team leadership experience is a plus.
Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in digital mapping or GIS projects.
•At least 6 months of experience in map data analysis, beyond basic digitization/mapping.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Knowledge of basic Python scripting, SQL, PostgreSQL, and other querying languages is a plus.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve complex mapping issues.
•A strong focus on attention to detail, accuracy, and high-quality output.
•Good time management skills and adaptability in work hours.
Job Responsibilities:
• Work with the team to resolve daily customer build issues.
• Track and report build delivery KPIs, proposing improvement actions.
• Investigate map issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Analyze and map vendor data, ensuring quality and coverage.
• Improve data quality by reviewing spectrum issues, running probe jobs, and identifying anomalies.
• Apply coding changes and modeling updates where necessary.
• Evaluate and suggest improvements for map features like search and guidance.
• Use AI tools to analyze feature issues and create training models.
