Description:
We are looking for an experienced GIS Mapping Specialist with expertise in HD lanes, lane mapping, and HD maps. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience working on maps platforms. You should be familiar with road features, lane attributes, and other mapping elements.
Requirements:
• 3-4 years of experience in GIS mapping, particularly with HD lanes and road features.
• Strong knowledge of lane attributes and road features.
• Creative problem-solving and analysis skills to resolve mapping challenges.
• Expertise in quality control processes and RCA tools like fishbone diagrams and histograms.
• Quality certification (7 Quality Tools) is required.
Preferences:
• Familiarity with HD lanes, lane attributes, and road features, with a strong background in platforms
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage workloads effectively, and meet SLAs while ensuring high-quality standards.
• Ability to creatively address and resolve complex mapping challenges.
• Experience in using quality control tools such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), fishbone diagrams, histograms, and other quality management methods.
• Knowledge of GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS), programming languages (Python, SQL), and geospatial databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS) is a plus.
• Quality certifications (7 Quality Tools or similar) are highly preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
• Work on HD lanes and lane mapping, focusing on attributes such as lane count and lane features.
• Analyze and update road features to ensure the accuracy and quality of mapping data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that maps meet client and project requirements.
• Perform quality checks and use quality control tools such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques (e.g., fishbone diagrams, histograms).
• Provide creative solutions to complex mapping issues and improve data quality.
