Description

We’re looking for an API Integration Specialist to join our team and play a key role in helping clients integrate, troubleshoot, and optimize API solutions while delivering an outstanding onboarding experience.

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • API Integration: Prior experience working with APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL). Familiarity with API management tools and platforms like Postman, Swagger, or Apigee. Knowledge of API security protocols (OAuth, JWT, TLS).
  • Technical Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively. Experience working with logs, service monitoring, and integration debugging.
  • Programming and Automation: Basic or intermediate knowledge of languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar for integration testing or scripting. Understanding of CI/CD tools and test environments.
  • Testing and QA: Experience in functional and integration testing to ensure APIs meet required standards.
  • Documentation and Tools: Ability to create clear and accessible technical documentation for both technical and non-technical users. Experience using tools like Confluence, GitHub Pages, or Notion to maintain updated documentation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Client Onboarding: Collaborate closely with clients and partners to understand their API integration needs. Guide clients through the onboarding process with clear documentation and step-by-step instructions.
  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to API integrations, ensuring prompt issue resolution. Work alongside the development team to address complex technical issues and implement solutions.
  • Documentation and Training: Create and maintain comprehensive onboarding documentation and training materials for clients.
    Conduct training sessions to educate clients on the effective use of the API platform.
  • Communication: Serve as clients’ primary point of contact during onboarding, ensuring excellent customer service.
    Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring all expectations are clear.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams including developers, product managers, and customer support to ensure a seamless onboarding process. Provide feedback to improve the onboarding experience and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct detailed testing of API integrations to ensure compliance with standards and specifications. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the onboarding process.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Stay informed about the latest advancements in API technologies and integration best practices. Apply industry insights to improve processes and deliver innovative solutions.
