Description
The company focuses on providing end-to-end electronic ticketing solutions. In the project, we developed the validator application, monitoring service, Payment, and Back office integrations
Our technical solutions make it possible for organizations in the public sector to enhance the travel experience of their customers as well as improve turnover and operational capacity at a relatively low cost.
In addition to the development of e-ticketing solutions for existing applications, we develop future-proof cloud-based ticketing solutions that can be applied in a multi-functional open architecture. Operators can continue to support and improve existing applications while making a controlled migration to the more future-proof “cloud ticketing” solution.
Over the years, we have established an excellent reputation with large national, as well as international, companies and we play an important role in the chip card program within the Dutch public transport sector.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Embedded Engineer with expertise in the payments industry. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of both software development and security requirements in the context of payments, including PCI DSS and PCI PTS certification.
Remote work is possible, but candidates able to travel on short notice will be preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in embedded systems development, with a focus on the payments industry.
- Strong experience with C/C++ in embedded environments.
- Familiarity with payments systems, particularly in transportation (closed and open loop cards).
- Experience with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) and PCI PTS (PIN Transaction Security) certification processes.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance in payment systems.
- Experience working with APIs and back-office communication in payment systems.
- Strong diagnostic and debugging skills to address system bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption standards, and data protection.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments.
Job Responsibilities
- Address technical blockers in the payments system for transportation projects.
- Work with C/C++ on Vix hardware to acquire payments from closed and open loop cards.
- Validate transactions against downloaded lists and communicate with back-office systems through specific APIs.
- Conduct diagnostics and performance analysis to identify and resolve inefficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with security standards such as PCI DSS and PCI PTS for certification.
