Requirements
Must have:
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Japanese (equivalent to at least JLPT N3 or higher; official JLPT certification is not required).
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English (equivalent to B2 or higher).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams in Japan and Central Eastern Europe (CEE).
- At least 4 years of relevant development experience in Java.
- Solid understanding of the Spring framework (Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, etc.) and Hibernate ORM.
- Experience with relational databases, message brokers, and building RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Docker (or similar containerization technologies).
- Experience with implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito) and integration testing.
Good to have:
- Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience with XML and UML.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in FinTech.
- Self-motivated, quick learner, and highly organized.
- EU Blue Card (for non-EU citizens).
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in Agile and software development activities, including backlog refinement, planning, implementation, design and code reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
- Develop and deliver AWS-based Java services using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
- Collaborate with the team to solve problems, share knowledge, and contribute to team activities.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and design effective solutions to resolve them.
