Requirements
Role Overview
We are looking for an Atlassian administrator to join the Development operations team! As a
member of the Development operations team, you will play a critical role in managing
and developing the Atlassian ecosystem.
You will collaborate with a wide range of business stakeholders to create solutions within the
Atlassian toolset and be the strategic end-to-end owner of all Atlassian services.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Contribute to, and maintain, the Atlassian product road map.
• Access current usage across products / teams and identify areas to archive,
streamline or enhance.
• Guide various lines of the business on best practice and standardization in
implementing and leveraging processes within the Atlassian Suite. (Jira Cloud,
Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira Service management)
• Validate business requirements with stakeholders, creating optimal solutions to
complex problems.
• Collaborate on the backend support of the Atlassian environment and co-ordinate
application maintenance and upgrades.
• Balance request queue SLAs while contributing to longer-term projects.
• Embrace ways to optimise/improve Atlassian workflows and identify where
functionality can/cannot meet user requests.
• Implement Atlassian tooling to support portfolio management (Roadmaps)
• Deliver educational information to internal customers and key users to drive
further adoption of Atlassian tools
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and advanced filters in Jira to provide end users and
business leadership with meaningful operational / performance metrics and
status reports.
Key Skills
• Strong understanding for Atlassian products, plug-ins, and roadmap features for
future enhancements to support business objectives.
• Strong Atlassian cloud configuration experience, including workflows, fields,
screens, permissions, and notifications.
• Knowledge of Jira REST API or other REST based web services.
• Knowledge of third-party customisation add-ons (ScriptRunner, Automation for
JIRA, JMWE)
• Skills to develop solutions for integration with other tools, automate manual
processes, data migration routines and extract data for reporting and analytical
purposes.
• Experience in working with indexable datastores
• Experience in working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)
• Understanding in Linux server command line trouble shooting utilities
• Experience in working with relational databases (MySQL)
• Strong understanding of Software development methodologies (e.g., SAFe,
Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) from an I.T perspective and a business perspective.

• 3+ years of administering enterprise level Atlassian applications or 2+ years of
administering enterprise level Atlassian applications with Atlassian
administration certifications for cloud
• Working knowledge of ITSM/ITIL methodologies (ITIL v4 desirable)
• Scrum master or similar experience with knowledge of SAFe.
