A customer is a healthcare IT security company. It provides healthcare companies with a platform that addresses critical compliance and security challenges and helps to improve providers’ productivity.
The goal is to create a SaaS product from the ground up in a public cloud framework.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of professional writing experience – commercial software enterprise environment preferred.
- Solid project management, communication, organization, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of MadCap Flare, and/or other professional authoring tools for single-source authoring and online help development preferred.
- Knowledge of technologies and concepts related to the software industry.
- Demonstrated success in completing or supporting projects to a deadline.
- Working knowledge of HTML, XML, and CSS; ability to troubleshoot and resolve code issues independently.

Job Summary
The Technical Writer is part of the Quality Engineering and Documentation group and is responsible for developing technical documentation for the administrators and end users of products. Client provides companies with an employee access management platform that offers strong authentication and password management solutions, as well as clinical communication tools and patient identity solutions. Job responsibilities include supporting documentation projects and owning documentation for discreet product areas.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Produce concise, clear, and accurate documentation that meets customer objectives, documentation style guidelines, and release deadlines.
- Aid in researching, and author documentation deliverables ranging in complexity from new end-to-end implementation guides to updating existing documentation.
- Collaborate with product managers, user experience designers, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to gain product knowledge, understand business requirements, to understand appropriate documentation objectives.
- Collaborate with technical publications team members as necessary on authoring, editing, and publishing documentation.
