Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in payments/financial industry.
- Database oriented development using JAVA/ JDBC
- Ability to handle SQLServer with a good understanding of T-SQL for creation / modification of Stored Procedures and Database triggers.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL is added advantage
- Core Java based development is primary with the use of JDBC
- Able to advise on best practices for the prevention and resolution of performance issues in the high-transaction and multi-Terabyte SQL
environment. - MUST be comfortable with managing data, including data analysis, data repair, and identifying corrective actions to support long-term solutions.
- Nice to have is having experience with PowerShell or at least should be ready to learn and work with PowerShell.
- Demonstrated experience working as part of an Agile team.
- Cross DB platform experience (e.g., Microsoft Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo)
- Can support and advise on tools, such as SQL Sentry, SolarWinds DPA, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Redgate Utilities, SSIS, and SSRS
experience. - Fluent English. (mandatory)
