Description:

Their flagship jukeboxes, paired with an extensive music catalog and mobile app, inspire millions of people every week to play the right song at the right time at their favorite hangouts. 

Our client is looking for a dedicated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their team. As an SRE, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of the company’s infrastructure and services. You’ll work closely with software developers, engineers, and operations teams to monitor systems, anticipate potential issues, and implement solutions that improve overall system resilience and scalability.
This position combines software engineering with system operations to ensure smooth deployments, automated processes, and continuous improvements to production systems.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps engineer, or similar role
Solid understanding of development and operations practices (DevOps principles)
Proficiency in coding with Java, Python, Perl, or Ruby
Experience with production monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
Expertise in CI/CD tools configuration and pipeline management (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address system issues proactively
Experience in automating infrastructure tasks using scripting and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef)
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Experience in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of Linux system administration and networking concepts
Excellent technical writing and documentation skills

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with software developers, engineers, and operations teams to build, maintain, and optimize systems and services
Monitor site performance, stability, and reliability using production monitoring tools, including participation in on-call rotations
Identify and address potential issues before they escalate by building preventative measures and alerting systems
Conduct post-incident reviews, investigating root causes and applying lessons learned to improve processes
Document your findings and solutions to create repeatable actions that can be automated within the infrastructure
Write and manage code that automates and improves infrastructure management and deployment processes
Mentor and coach junior engineers to help them grow their technical skills and knowledge
Assist in CI/CD pipeline management, ensuring smooth and reliable continuous integration and deployment
Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and maintain best practices for reliability and performance
