Description:
We invite a Senior Cloud (Python) Engineer to join a growing account in the medical device industry. Our client is a global leader in healthcare solutions, dedicated to improving human welfare through the application of biomedical engineering in the research, design, manufacture, and sale of instruments or appliances that alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life for people around the world.
Our team focuses on designing and developing a secure cloud platform for storing and managing medical images (DICOM compliant). The platform leverages AWS for cost-effective storage and access, integrates with existing systems (EHR, PACS), and offers a customizable user interface.

Requirements:
• Experienced in a variety of software languages/technologies including Python and AWS native technologies.
• Healthcare experience and DICOM familiarity would be beneficial
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Database experience on mobile devices
• Experience translating product requirements into design specifications
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Cloud Applications alongside other engineers and developers, collaborating with the Imaging team
• Interpreting briefs to create high-quality coding that functions according to specifications
• Contribute to application design
• Determine application functions and building objectives with the customer and/or Supplier stakeholders
• Ensure that written code falls in line with the customer-provided project objectives
• Problem-solving with other Client and/or Supplier stakeholders in the project
• Identifying and resolving immediate and potential issues with applications
• Participating in group meetings with customer and/or Supplier stakeholders to discuss projects and objectives
• Follow customer-provided source repository best practices
• Assist other Client and/or Supplier developers with troubleshooting, debugging, and coding.
• Participate in daily standups as required
