Requirements:
• 3 or more years of experience developing software across multiple software disciplines (UI, API, web, etc.)
• Cloud-based applications and services development
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of software development patterns, logic algorithms, languages, data structures, scalability, and best practices in cloud-based software and systems development
• Continuous integration and delivery (Ci/Cd)
• Software/Cloud architecture design – Service Oriented Architecture design
• Combine business, information, technologies and processes together to address specific system problems and/or technical improvements
• Agile principles and Scrum values in the delivery of increments
• Proficient in DevOps execution (build, deploy, support)
• Research of new concepts and suggest innovative designs that balance requirements with technology standards
• Influence, develop and maintain applied software architectures
• Working knowledge of multiple programming languages applied in cloud/edge solutions
• Experience developing scalable solutions and pipelines
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of modern development patterns
• Analytical skills that aid in reaching product goals and quarterly outcomes
• Abel to work independently and as part of a cohesive team
• Structured software testing practices (automated & manual)
• Knowledgeable in System / Software security
• Cloud/Hybrid/Edge development experience
• Cursory knowledge of Systems Engineering practices
• Attention to detail
Job Responsibilities:
• Understand and recommend system architectures that streamline internal development and operations in the team
• Participate in architecture design and technology decisions comprising of both in-house built and 3rd party software solutions
• Perform software development alongside teammates to apply defined architectures
• Understand customer requirements relative to system requirements
• Create and document functional and detailed design architectures (services & data)
• Work closely with Solution Architects and System Engineering teammates ensuring system architectures align with the intended architecture
• Collaborate to define, scope and refine architecture backlog items
• Mentor, guide and coach Software Engineers and Developers on the practices of system and solution architectures
• Conduct full-stack design, development, configuration, testing, and deployment of cloud-based software solutions comprising of multiple software development disciplines (Web, IoT, API, etc.)
• Engage and communicate with a variety of stakeholders: Product owners, developers, software architects, and end-users
• Conduct hands-on, rapid prototyping and product development across software platforms
• Define, code, and apply automated tests within the pipeline release cycle
• Identify, recommend, and document development standards
• Support products and services in production
• Actively participate in feature and story creation in the product backlog
• Continuously learn and apply industry best practices on modern software delivery practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accomplish project and product objectives
