Requirements:
– Bachelors in software engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field
– At least 6-8 years of progressive experience in software development
– Excellent programming skills in C++, knowledge in Python programming is big plus
– Good Understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, multithreaded applications and computer architecture
– Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Batch, Bash and Linux commands
– Experience with networking tools for troubleshooting issues related to data transfer and performance across a network
– Strong analytical skills, capable of uncovering anomalies in robust software
– Experience in software development for medical domain is a big plus
– Great communication and collaboration skills and a strong teamwork ethic
Job Responsibilities:
GlobalLogic is starting a completely new project and is building a new team. Here we are looking for a Lead C++ Engineer who will lead the development team and perform hands on tasks on technical aspects such as developing and exenting infrastructure for the existing robotic system.
The candidate must be comfortable working with complex electro-mechanical systems, deploying new software releases and running scripts on the systems. The candidate will work in close relationship with other software developers and QA(s) to integrate and improve infrastructure in existing software solutions.
We are looking for a candidate who can work independently and function well within a team, is self-motivated, diligent, takes software development as their true passion and wants bring software to an outstanding level of reliability. Responsibilities will include
– Design and develop scalable software architectures for robotic systems
– Lead the implementation of high-performance C++ software components
– Mentor and guide the development team, ensuring code quality and best practices
– Collaborate with hardware engineers for seamless software integration
– Optimize real-time algorithms for control, imaging, and data processing
– Ensure compliance with medical device regulations and documentation standards
– Work cross-functionally to align development with product and regulatory needs
– Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues efficiently
– Drive innovation and process improvements in development workflows
