Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java.
- Deep understanding of Java and its ecosystem, including frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
- Experience with both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
- Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, PHPUnit) and test-driven development (TDD).
- Proficient with Git and version control workflows.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical capabilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and mentor junior developers.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Adaptable, able to switch between Java for new projects and PHP for maintaining existing systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greenfield Development: Design, develop, and maintain new software solutions using Java.
- Legacy Code Maintenance: Maintain and enhance existing codebase using PHP.
- Search Optimization: Implement and optimize search functionalities using SOLR and other search technologies.
- Message Queue Integration: Integrate and manage message queue systems like Kafka and AWS SNS/SQS.
- Code Quality: Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and product managers.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, driving innovation within the team.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions.
